//EUPHORIE//(2024) – solo dance and storytelling: what I experience in my body and in my head when people talk to me about sports
The 3rd part of the triptych of small dance and theater forms for the public space that question sport, in creation since 2021.
EUPHORIE projects itself in a kind of storytelling dance. A body, a story, a dancer-narrator, delivers and makes us live, feel the sport as she lives it and sometimes even participate. This show is all about emotions. The themes of performance, pain, joy, rituals and competition are thus embodied. The gestures and inner thoughts of physical and moral effort.
It is this duality, which often opposes Sport and Art, that is questioned and at the same time broken down in order to find bridges. This show, designed for public spaces, invites the public to participate and take a sporting “break”.
