Les Passagers’ 2021-2025 project: street art meets sports
//SOLOSPORT//(2022) – dance: body movements of a sportswoman in a space reduced to 2 m2, to convey the expressiveness of the body and the mental limits of deprivation of liberty.
“In the beginning, as in all beginnings, there’s nothing but an idea or a concept: sport.
Since 2021, the Les Passagers company has been developing an artistic project combining street art and sport. Sport has always been an integral part of the company’s DNA. SPORTS invites us to question this apparent contradiction between sport and culture, building bridges between sporting disciplines and the performing arts. The project began with the creation of a triptych of small-form street shows. The triptych is awarded the OLYMPIADE CULTURELLE label by Paris2024
These creations are developed as choreographic and scenographic research modules with a view to building a large-scale vertical dance show for the summer of 2025 SPORT(S).
