NAMASTE
A spectacular Bollywood performance in the heart of London’s Trafalgar Square. A choreographic and theatrical creation depicting themes dear to Indian cinema on a 210 m² vertical fresco.
Created for the India Now festival, this show tells the story of a young Indian woman traveling to London, where she finds love on the arm of a Royal Navy captain.

Beyond this classic romantic storyline, this performance reveals all the codes of Bollywood cinema: melodrama, humor, color and, of course, music and dance. It is the fruit of an intense artistic collaboration involving the Compagnie Les Passagers, five poster painters who came specially from Mumbai to create the fresco, Joan Pirès, a choreographer specializing in Bollywood dance, in charge of training the dancers, and Niraj Chag, composer of the show’s original music. Indian poster painters: Suresh Sandal and Sushant Sandal.
